Introduction
The Department of Computer Engineering runs an undergraduate degree program (BE) which is established in the year 1994 with initial intake of 60. Over the years, the department has progressed continuously and currently offering 90 seats for UG program. Department emphases on teaching students various core subjects related design, development and maintenance of computer systems (Hardware concept) and design and development of algorithm and programming (software). To satisfy today’s demand, some emerging techniques like machine learning, AI, Cyber security are also included in the curriculum as compulsory and elective subject. Department also offer honours degree subjects.
> By providing our students with cutting-edge facilities and highly skilled, experienced, and motivated faculty, our objective is to empower them in the fields of computer engineering.
> Students are also given ample opportunities of internships and research activities like technical report writing, publishing research papers throughout their bachelor program.
> Through many departmental collaborations, guest lectures, seminars by industry experts, technical workshops organised by professional bodies, and other means, students are properly exposed to both soft and technical skills necessary to meet the demands of the industry.
> The department encourages students to participate in technical activities like hackathons, coding and project competitions, poster presentation and extra-curricular activities like inter college’s sports & cultural competitions.
